I'm still reading through the incredible amount of info on this board...but I have one question that has been bugging me for months and I was hoping someone could tell me an answer. About a year ago my checking account was closed..it was about $300 overdrafted. I have just recently started paying this money back. I need to find out if I will be able to open a checking or savings account at a bank any time soon.... and if not how long before I can. I have been reading a few posts with people talking about "ChexSystem" or something... is there a way to find out if there are any non-ChexSystem banks in MidMissouri??? Thanks so much...
