NAFS cannot sue you over the bounced check, they're full of crap. However, since you made the huge mistake of giving them your account information, they will keep trying to draft your account. Close the account or at the very least, notify your bank that any further attempts by that company to draft from your account is UNAUTHORIZED and should be blocked. I'd close the account.. its the easiest way.

I would hope you've got ALL the details on this credit counseling you've signed up with - they can ruin you just as badly, so you need to stay on top of them as to where your payments are going, how much is being paid and WHEN. Some of these places don't pay enough to do any good and some send in payments late.. which will also do you no good.

Let CCCS try to negotiate with them and go from there, but STOP talking to NAFS on the phone.
