Criminals project onto others their own behavior. These scumbags accuse you of illegal activity when from all indications they are breaking the rules. What you want to do is file complaints with the attorney general of your state and the Federal Trade Commission. These crooks prey upon consumers' lack of awareness of their rights and protections and understandable fear of going to court. They may well face criminal as well as civil sanctions. Check out some of the postings on this board, a new growth industry in post-nineties America is predatory collection by organized criminal gangs. Give them nothing but trouble by making use of all government regulatory agencies. These creeps tell lies the way the rest of us breathe. Believe nothing they tell you.
