Just received a call from that same number (800-379-8414) with no name, on this Saturday morning of Nov. 1, 2003 around 9:30am.
He asked for my name (I always pretend I'm not home & I'm acting as someone else. I do this very often to avoid telemarketers/credit collection agencies). I said "He's not home. I will ask them for their name &/or company name if possible before they hung up on me. If they still haven't hung up yet, I'll ask them to leave a message, and he'll call back ASAP. They might or might not give you their name/message/phone number upon request even if they're not telemarketers/credit collections agencies.
I have caller ID, went online to infospace.com and tried to track the number to a business. Can't find it, so I did a web search on it.
I only found 2 websites: this one and one other.

How can we make the number show up even though we're not suppose to? Any phreaks (Phone hackers[hackers = computer nerds who get into computerized (anything with a pc (printed circuit) board in it, such as a computer, office phone system, or televisions, etc....) systems for the fun of it.]) willing to help on this problem?
