But there is no hearing yet. Just a Summons for an Answer in 20 days? It says in the Summons that I don't need to appear in person but I'm not familiar with court procedures. Do you mean a few days before the 20 day filing period is up?

After the Answer is sent, how long is it usually before the court date?

Not sending the answer to the CA lawyer sounds like a good idea but why do people normally do so? Is it required by the law?

Isn't it risky to assume that they will send a low grade flunky to the hearing without documentation? What if they do have the documents?

I'm not too clear on the Fraud Alert thing. What is opt out?
