Can An OC chargOff Twice?

A payment was made twice to the OC. The first payment was 188 days apart from the last payment which was 162 days when it was sold to CA, The SOL will be up in about 9 months. If the CA decides to starts legal actions after the SOL expires, can they add that additional 18 days that was left on the CC at the time it was sold? Can an OC, in this case, have more than one Chargeoff?
