If you did not file an answer with the Court that could be entered into your record, you will probably lose. It is not too late, file an ammended answer, make sure you provide documented evidence that the account was not yours, such as proof of living elsewhere at the time of the charges. If you get a summary judgment entered against you,you can then appeal on the basis of your answer. By the way, how long ago was this alleged debt defaulted?
