Why is she being sued?
Did she buy items and not pay the account?
Is she STILL employed at Mervyns? My mother stopped paying her bill back in June 2003. According to the summons she agreed to pay $1916.15. I think my mother misunderstood because she doesn't have that kind of money. I know she has a memory problem, she is 70. She probably agreed to pay the payments. She hasn't used that card in month's. She is still employed with mervyn's My mother stopped paying all the utility bills, not because she didn't want to it was that she forgot. I took over paying those bills for her. I feel that this is exactly what happend.
