WhyChat, you mentioned the difference between provable debts...to the court...i.e.NOT validation. Could you explain what that means please? My Providian balance was around 3k when they charged it off, and now they are asking almost 6k. What does the court require of them? Should I dispute this amount? Now I'm really confused! My credit is an absolute wreck already, I had a small home business that went DOWN...which wrecked my whole credit history since we had to file a Chapter7BK. Does this make me more desireable to sue?
