Good luck. I hope all goes well. These collectors will say anything to get you to pay because that is how they get paid. Don't even talk to him again, change your phone number if you have to. And if he calls on a cell phone, tell him you are on a cell phone and he can't call you because it is costing you money...it is like them calling you collect, which they are not suppose to do. That has also worked for me in the past.
