MBNA did that to me last month. I went from 9.9 to 16.9 and needless to say I was upset so I called and spoke to an account specialist and it was lowered back to 9.9. I simply told them I am on a budget and could not afford 16.9 and if they wanted to make money and get it back they could lower it or get nothing. IF they refuse ask to speak to a manager. IF that does not work file a complaint with planetfeedback.com and see what happens.
