You don't seem to understand. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A POSITIVE TRADELINE FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY. Demand total deletion of the tradeline as well as all inquires.
Prior to apply for credit, OPTOUT. This keeps CRA's from alerting a ca that you may be in position to pay. The number is near the bottom of the link.

Scott is right. No good will come from paying out of stat debt. You'll be better served disputing this away.
