I just filed Chapter 13. Now, what can happen in the meeting of the creditors? Do they usually object to anything? Can they object to how much money I am paying into the plan. My attorney is not a huge help on answering these questions for me. The only things I am reaffirming is my lease on my car and my house loan, both of which I am current on. We lease our car from my inlaws. And since they are listed as a creditor they received the papers from the court about the meeting of the creditors. Do they need to submit a claim and/or attend the meeting of the creditors so the courts will allow us to still pay on the car?
