why can the oc and ca for the same account charge off on you cr

well what I am trying to say I have looked at my credit report and I have seen where company's that I never even ask to look or get credit or loan from has been looking at my account , i have contacted the company's and they can't even tell me who My Son name is the same as mine and I know he is been trying to get credit for a cell phone, I think mine is coming up on his ,
how do I go about getting his off mine and his own, we have different ss #
it say's will stay on my record for 2 yrs
another question
if you pay the charge off how come the amount the cr show's is different from what the ca say's that I owe, and how can the oc and the ca they bought it charge off on the same account because it keeps telling me that i have double on the one account ......the ca only sent me one letter telling me they had my account before they got a lawyer in my state of Okla to sue me well I am making payments to them but my score isn't coming up because of this mess I have sent Validation to them to show they have my account information what do I do next if they don't val it how do i get it off my cr any help is greatly appericate thanks so much
