You DO NOT "restart the SOL clock" by paying after the chargeoff to anyone.

The ONLY way to "restart" the SOL clock is by signing a NEW contract, (as in a consolidation loan or renewed credit application) that clearly states you are waiving your rights.

To find your start of your "legal" SOL, look for the "removal" date on a SNAIL MAIL copy of your Experian report. Count back 7 years from that date.
