Please tell me if this is normal... I disputed the last date of activity from Huntington Bank on my Transunion report... They are reporting 1998, I know it was 1995 (I have no proof though)... so i sent them a dispute... I called Huntington themselves and was told their system only goes back 1yr so how does a request get validated..
The reply from transunion was "we are in receipt of additional information regarding your current dispute.. due to this additional information, the time frame for completing the investigation has been extended.. the initial correspondence was recd on 10/24 and additional information was recd on 10/31, which allows transunion 15 additional days.. therefore your investigation will be completed on or before 12/6... i only sent 1 piece of information and how do they figure the extension, even with the so called additional information its 7 days.. i feel like sending a "intent to sue" letter...
because of this inaccuracy, my car loan is now 24% instead of 4.99% (i have documentation supporting this from synergy bank stating because of the huntington bank issue, they are unable to provide me with 4.99%)

any ideas...
how can i find my date of delinquency.. huntington says system only goes back a year.. but amazingly, transunion can find it and verify it....
