Make sure you go to court on the day your suppossed to. If this is small claims court the judgment will probably not be a lien on real estate at least it isn't in my state of Missouri. In my opinion the amount is not large enough to consider a levy against real estate. As I said in first line, go to court on the set day, and try to make a deal with the attorney for an amount you can afford each month or you can postpone the case for at least 90 to 120 days. Has the case date (when it will be heard) actually been set.
