They may "back out" and not appear, or request a postponement. It depends on the nature of your answer.

If you have a solid SOL defense, and present it properly, they will likely not show, or will withdraw their claim.

Make sure you include in your answer, (if you have a SOL defense) the correct State statutes regarding not only SOL, and when it begins, but the statute of frauds # from your State that deals with "re-aging" of SOL,and what is a "written " contract.

I suggest you reply within 20 days, the 35 day reply period MAY be correct, but if it is on a form from A$$inine,it may be a trick.
