I’ve read over WhyChats web page and I think I know what I need to do, but I’m a little confused on what to do first. Below is what I think needs to be done and in what order. Please let me know if this correct.

1. Request confirmation from ASSet’s attorney. (At this point I don’t know who the original creditor was. I defaulted on all of the cards at the same time, so I know the SOL has expired.)

2. Deliver the Answer and Notice of Appearance to ASSet’s attorney. (This is where I’m a little confused. Should I wait on the confirmation before doing this? In the SOL defense form it shows that I need the original creditor, which I won’t have until I get the confirmation from ASSet’s attorney. I also need this info to look up the date I defaulted on my credit report. Should I go ahead and send the Answer and Notice of Appearance just to be safe and remove any possibility that they could win by default.)

3. Deliver the Answer, Notice of Appearance and Certificate of Service to the Court Clerk.

Also, were these forms (Answer and Notice of Appearance) supposed to be attached to the summons? I didn’t get these and was wondering where I could find them.

If someone could answer these questions I should have what I need to get things moving.

Thanks in advance,

Brandon
