Allied Interstate call this morning

Wanted to see what you all think of this (I'm in Texas BTW)

I got a voice-mail from Allied INterstate this morning. The man stated that he was calling regarding a past due Visa account. (I'm aware of the account he is calling about, and the account has been in collection for 5+ years). He stated that the original creditor has asked for the account to be returned to their legal department so they could get a judgement against me. And that if he didn't hear back from me today to arrange payment of payoff, he was going to go ahead and give it back to them to get the judgement.

Sounds like a scare tactic to me because
a) the original creditor has already charged it off
b) the account is beyond TX's SOL
c) I haven't returned any of Allied Interstate's calls (ever) and I think they are making one last play to get money from this before they give it to another CA.

Do you all think my thoughts are correct? Do I have anything to worry about in regards to the original creditor getting a judgement (or was that A.I. throwing out legal mumbo jumbo to try to scare me?
