Midland called me and offered to settle an acct
from Providian National Bank with me. They are the
company that lost a class action suit for ripping
people off with false charges; me being one of
them. I offered him $170, which Is what i owed, as
opposed to the $270 he offered. His reply? and I
quote: "Are you going to sit there and cry like a
little baby or are you going to act like a MAN and
settle this?" he said this 45 seconds into the
conversation. They are complete scumbags and
