Debt after divorce, ex is not paying

As part of my divorce decree 2 yrs ago, My now ex husband was to pay the debt owed on 2 credit cards in both of our names totaling close to $30,000. For the past several months I have been getting threatening phone calls from collection agencies, at work, on my cell, they do not have my home phone, as well as my neighbors getting calls asking them for my home phone. I have explained the circumstances to several persons at the collection agency. They say I am responsible for the debt, and keep trying to contact me. I don't know what to expect next. Do I need to get a lawyer? Should I file for bankruptcy? I can no way pay this or will, any of it.The debt has been charged off on my credit report.
