Help on credit report

I just got a copy of my Experian credit report. There are a few items on it that I know are not mine. When I tried to dispute them I was told that they are mine and I should just pay them. What else can I do to figt what I know I didn't charge or buy? Also, some of the "collection" companies listed I have read many bad reports about, RJM Acqquisitions and Axsys by Fingerhut, is there a way I can get these off my credit since I haven't ever delt with these companies and don't know where they came from?
