Ask for deletion about 6 months early, via Certified Mail and you should get your deletion.

You asked if your credit score would go up when deleted. The answer is yes. I've seen credit scores go up by as much as 50 plus points when a Bankruptcy is deleted.

Equifax, may or may not be a problem. I believe TransUnion and Experian will delete right away.

I don't know how many accounts are listed in your Bankruptcy, but if there arn't a whole lot you can dispute them one at a time with the Original Creditor and I've seen them deleted. Do not tell the OC in your letter that they are BK accounts. Dispute them just like a regular account. Also tell them that they do not have your permission to view your Credit Profile. The reason this works is that the OC probably sold your account long ago and no longer has any information. I can give you a template via fax if you like.

Check your report after BK deletion for accounts still listed. There may or may not be account/s from BK still listed.
