I have had this happen to me before. I was an authorized user and the bad credit came back on my credit report. Unfortunately, the CRA are allowed to report credit activity on the credit report for the authorized user. However, I just disputed the items on my report as "not mine" and they eventually took it off. This may or may not work, but is worth a try. but do try this as some of the dishonest collection agencies will try to collect the debt from you if it is on your report, that had happened to me.
