You need to find out who the card is being issued from. i.e., what bank is going to issue. Then call that bank and ask them about the secured card. It may be that they will have a better offer for you. I can tell you one to stay away from and that is Orchard Bank. The people that are selling you this card are paid from the deposit of $299.00 of at least 1/2. So try and go direct to the bank if possible.
