I received a letter on Saturday from a company called Morgan and Associates "A professinal Corporation attorneys & Counselors at Law". I live in CA and this is for a Ultramar gas card that is about a year old that is for $535.71. I sent a validation letter to these people about three weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything until yesterday. I got this letter that states "you are requested to call this office on November 21st at 2pm to settle this account. It is in your best interest that this appointment has been arranged." The letter is then signed by J. Thurman attoney at law.

Not sure what to do at this point. Whychat, Ladynred, anyone have any suggestions? It is sort of freaking me out because it looks so legal, but at the same time I am not sure. I am unemployed, so there is no way that I can pay it right now anyway unless I borrow money from my parents. Suggestions?
