Hi Moonshadow! I'm no expert, but you sounded just about exactly like me....and my situation, so I thought I'd give you some moral support!

I got a couple of viewpoints here which all made alot of sense.....1) being that sending hardball letters like Cease & Desists will get you sued if you're within the SOL (per WhyChat), and 2).....it is always your right to demand validation for this debt...(per Lady)

I opted for the validation since I can't stand just waiting around to see if I get served with a summons, so a very nice man emailed me letters that he said would stop them in their tracks. His email is sbostwick@validatethatdebt.com, but I didn't include the cease and desist order per WhyChats advice. Good Luck, I'll check back and tell you how my progress is going....and pass on any info or experiences!
