You should also file an ID theft report with the FTC and put a fraud alert on your credit reports. In addition, file a complain against this collection agency with the FTC and your State's Attorney General or Dept. of Consumer Protection. If you don't nip this in the bud, it will escalate into having ALL of this other person's bad credit heaping up on YOU.
