Seriously Delinquint single working mom

I hope someone can give me some advice. I am a single working parent of two. I do not own a home and I am still paying off a five year loan on a used vehicle. The problem is that I have about five seriously delinquint credit card debts, for which I receive letters and collection phone calls for on a daily basis. Sometimes I think I am going to lose my mind, other times I just want to run away. I ran into difficuly making payments on the cards when the intrest shot through the roof and maxed my limits. The amounts I owe each creditor ranges from $600.00 to $3,000.00. The thing I am most afraid of is being sued, I barely get by on what I make now. My question is does anyone know what if anything can be taken from me if I do get sued. As I dont own a home and my vehicle already has a bank lien on it and also have nothing substantial in savings or checking accounts. Any personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. The phone calls, letters, and threats are scaring me half to death.
