You pay $49 to get the card and then an additional $49 is charged to it. You will have a limit of $300.

My favorite things about them are that they have a 25-day grace period, just like the 'good' cards, so you can pay your balance ahead of time and never pay interest, and you can pay online for free, unlike those other cheap crappy cards like Centennial ($7 fee) FNBM ($5.95 fee) and Plains Commerce which doesn't even have an online payment and takes 2 weeks to credit you if you pay by check.
