I realize there is no deadline for the CA to validate. But the thing is I never got written verification (the one you are supposed to get within 5 days of communication) and no statements sayign what I owe and what I paid and what rate of interest is being added. Nothing. Yet I have been charged interest all along. If the pseudo-lawyer had just sent SOMETHING in writing saying $1500 would have this debt paid in full I would have settled and been done with them. they promised they would and then never did. I now do not trust this CA at all and will take them to court for the 15 other violations if it is needed.

If they provide validation thats fine - but since Chase is now claiming I owe them the full amount of the CO when I have already paid Collect America $3000+ for that CO I have doubts that everyone is communicating this debt accurately. AND I do take offense at the lawyer trying to make me "settle" for $500 MORE than the CA says I owe... If COLLECT AMerica validates I will offer them a deal (with conditions) but i will not deal with their lawyer under any circumstances - if they try to contact me again I will be filing lawsuits against them! They have harrassed me and lied to me for two years now they need to earn their money.
