Suppose someone has your ss# and applies for a dozen CCs using your info. You would have all those inquiries on your reports. How would you go about disputing those? Shouldn't they have to remove them then? But, how could you prove that it wasn't you who made the inquiries? Perhaps reporting that you're the victim of ID theft can get all those inquiries removed?
