I have few questions. I am going in to court for discovery of assets tomorrow the 19th. I know it is late. But are they allowed to contact me by phone (Cadle Company) after they got a judgement twice and tried to collect and tell me to take a 2nd mortgage out on my house. These I have audio tape of. If C & W got a judgement by a lawyer, can Cadle call on this account? How can they put a lien on my and my husbands real property? The judgement is only against me. I don't have a job. They made their paperwork look like it was coming from the courts, which it wasn't. And they say that they put a lien on my real property for a credit card debt. Which they didn't. This is in Missouri. Now they want me in court for a discovery of assets.
What kind of stuff do they want to know about? They never sent anything by certified mail. Everything was sent by regular mail. Is there anthing that they might have done so that I could get this judgement vacated? The judgement was last year. Thanks...Susan
