I saw a post from someone in Texas and you told her that in Texas they will often freeze bank accounts BEFORE a Judgement!! Are you saying that these companies can have your accounts frozen BEFORE FILING A LAWSUIT!? or can freeze your account by court order after filing suit(but before decision is made by judge??) I live in New Hampshire and have been waiting to be sued by Providian. Very concerned about protecting the lttle money that i do have. If i am sued I will file bankruptcy, but if they freeze my accounts before i even go to court- I will not have any money to pay for the bankruptcy! Can they only freeze my accounts after I appear in court?? Thanks!
