I have had a judgment deleted from my credit report. Now, I must deal with the collection agency listing. They are the same place that got the default judgment..it is the same debt. 1) When I (if) I send a validation letter to the agency, will they just send me a copy of the judgment as "validation"? If they do, does that count? 2) I was never served. I have seen the court papers. They say they served me personally. I know that this is not true. I know I was never served. Had I known I was being sued by them, I would have been there. I would have fought it. But, I did not know, and now it is LONG past the time that the courts say that I can attempt to have it vacated. (they say something like 21 days) Are there any other options? Or am I just stuck with the judgement forever?
