If you didn't send your dispute letter by certified mail - send another one stating that you have sent two previous letters requesting validation which they have not responded to - send it certified return receipt requested.

If you do have their signed receipt of your other letters you don't have to send any more letters.

Do you know who you were talking to when he acknowledged receipt of your dispute letter?
