I had sent Sears an offer to settle. Nothing for a few weeks and then received the usual bill but that says "duplicate copy". Bill is dated 11/11 but looking at my credit report Sears just charged my account off this month. Can they send me a duplicate copy bill after they charged off my account? Is this the right response to my offer to settle is to send a regular bill? Do I smell any violations?
