Any agency that seeks to pursue a minor after learning that she is a minor has gone way beyond violating the FDCPA. The bank should not have allowed her to open the account without an adult cosignor and any bills she accrued would not have to be paid because she contracted as a minor.

Find a good FDCPA attorney in your state.
