Thank you for responding. Like I said, I'm trying to buy a house. I am almost debt free ($600 student loan, and a $200 CC, which I pay off every month). My back ratio inclusive of the house that I am trying to buy is at 44%, with a front of 38%. So if I dispute this $6606 that is showing as open, saying that it was included in my BK 4 years ago, that should substantially improve my ratio? Will it improve my credit score as well? Right now it shows as "charged off as bad debt". Is that any worse than showing as "included in BK"?
