Along with recording their conversation, keep a log book of the day and time that they called which would correspond with the recorded messages. A log book holds up very well in court. As for violations, yes they violated Sec. 807 and 808.

Go online at USPS and type in your tracking number to see if they have signed for your mail yet. Your partial C&D is good just as soon as they sign for it. They will probably contact you by phone after that date and you can use that against them for violation to Sec. 805 (c) I would also send them another C&D, that you no longer want any communication of any kind. I can almost say with certainty that they will send another letter after your C&D. Then you have all the leverage you need to zero out your debt.

You can also call the telephone co. and ask for a temporary number change as you are receiving abusive, harassing telephone calls. I believe they will temporarily change your number for a month and then it will change back to your original number. With your cell phone, you will just have to scan your calls.
