Thanks. I looked up the New York Uniform Commercial Code Act and Manufactured Homes are listed there under goods and would seem to apply, but I am not sure if the same UCC code is applied universally to all states.

To question. Cosigner was not informed of sale or proceeds from sale. Cosigner was notified of the repo and the notice that they have taken possession of the home, but was not notified of the sale of the home or was not sent an accounting of the proceeds of the sale or the means by which they arrived at the deficiency balance.

Original applicant was not notified of any of these things since they sent all paperwork for original applicant to cosigner expecting cosigner to forward and deliver them. Cosigner refused acceptance of primary applicants summons and paperwork since primary applicant does not live in same state as cosigner.

Was that a legal thing to do. ALso was it legal for cosigner to refuse any mail that was addressed to original applicant but not addressed to cosigner?
