When an Attorney/Debt Collector from a distant state calls you on an account they are seeing if you know your rights as an alleged debtor or if you are an easy target and can be scammed out of money. They aren't going to bring suit against you. Just send the Request for Validation and relax!! That's been my experience. I quit paying Credit Card companies after I studied the proper documents and found that I didn't owe them any money. That's not speculation, that's the TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
