The medicare form I signed for purchase does not have the amount of the co-pay on it. Med supplier said the 84.50 was for NOV 7 DEC rental (they bill 2 months at a time) plus the Purchase co-pay for the chair. The medicare statements for the two months plus the co-pay equals 84.50. They quoted me amount in late DEC--I sent the 84.50 early JAN. The bills (2) they keep sending are computer printed for my rental co-pay plus what medicare would have paid for rental for JAN & FEB. They highlite past due. They HAVE NOT BILLED MEDICARE for rental for JAN OR FEB. I told them if I purchased the chair early JAN, how could I owe rent especially for FEB. Talking to them is like talking to the wall. I marked my check PAID IN FULL with all information plainly stated on it. Would the UCC accord and satisfaction rule come into play? (Me-VA, Supplier-Tenn).
