hello on last may of 2003 i receive a letter from OSI collection services to pay my account (credit card) i owe 3,775. the letter said to pay half of it which i did to settle my account.i gave them a call and pay 1,887.95 over the phone. they told me that they going to send me a settlement letter which i never got. i called the providian (visa card) they said everything was settled. so i thought everything is ok. and last month (october) i receive a letter again for the same account for $2000 with different collection agency. i told them that this account is settle but they wont beleive me. they want a receipt which i never got. i call OSI again now they telling me that they have some recall on the providian. that they dont carry providian anymore. and OSI dont have my account anymore. call providian all they telling me they move this account to another collection. all i got is the copy of my bank statement and copy of my check from the bank. how can i resolve this problem??
