First Revenue Assurance is a typical third party debt collector. They have one of my charge offs from a few years ago which is still with the OC. They are not affiliated with Collect America. You can look them up at www.firstrevenue.com. They have a reputation for threatening suits, garnishments etc. I've never spoken with them. They called initially every day with the usual call back or its out of our hands blah blah have to make a decision today blah blah in your best interest to call blah blah we're doing an asset investigation and need to speak with you blah blah. Now they just have their machine ring up my machine once a month asking me to call back. So, with First Revenue, it's been 12 months safely and completely ignored since they've worked my account. If you deal with them don't take any of their threats seriously.
