I have not been to the website you described, even though my WEBTV is immune to bots and worms and virus attacks from implanted cookies, nor have I paid much attention to all the "credit fixing" suggestions discussed in this thread.

In general, if you are in "stealth" mode, as you apparently are, just about anything will work, as the collection agencies look for the easy targets.

However,in my opinion, if you paid more than 10¢ for this "book" it was a waste of your money as any information for any method you wish to use to deal with your credit problems is free for the searching on the internet, together with comments from REAL people, (not troll stooges) about their experiences.

As to being able to find your address and place of employment and SS #, well- actually that is't very hard to do. Public records on auto registration, drivers licenses, UCC liens, home ownership, birth, marriage, divorce, judgments, tax liens, arrests, bounced checks or if you were bonded for employment, or had any kind of professional license, or had your name on any registered business entity, etc. etc. etc. the data is available with low or no cost on line access accounts.

In addition, if you ever were insured for ANYTHING, the data is available through CLUE.

Aside from all that, many of the "credit repair" websites are scam fronts for ID theft.
