The CA already got my SSN, name, address, and mothers maiden from the credit application I gave to the OC. That said, the only people who know if I'm currently employed is (or should be) my employer and the government agencies that withholding taxes are sent to. I would think the OC would want to find out whether one's employed and what one is making to determine if they should sue and could get a wage garnishment. So, what scares me is if they can find this out to determine whether they can sue. It's scary that, as CAK states, that this information can be obtained for the right price. This has the feel or organized crime.
