Burton....signing the Validation Letter isn't a threat to you unless you're erroneously claiming Fraud on the opening of the original account.

I would suggest signing the letter as proof that it's you requested the stated info. Otherwise, they could choose to ignore your letter for failing to validate that you're the actual account holder.
