Maybe you can help me. I’m being sued by Asset Acceptance and intend to file my answer to the Petition that I was served tomorrow. They have never sent me any type of validation of the debt that they say I owe. I sent a validation request to their attorney over 10 days ago and have not received a reply. I want to use the Statute of Limitations as my Affirmative Defense, but I have never been given information on who the original creditor is. I think I have things worded properly to circumvent this problem, but any advice you could give me on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
